Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) programme, RAD RTS, PBT
Vivian started her dance journey at age 3 and pursued her pre-professional training in School of The Arts Singapore (SOTA) where she was a recipient of the Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship and graduated with Excellence (Arts) Award and Art Excellence Module Award in Classical Ballet. She represented the school in the Arts Excellence Programme for an exchange in the New Zealand School of Dance and the Hong Kong Asian Grand Prix where she was a finalist. In 2022, Vivian graduated on the Dean's list from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) as a recipient of the HKSAR Government Scholarship 2018-2021, Academic Studies (Dance) Faculty Scholarships 2021/22 and Hong Kong Disneyland Scholarships 2021/22. She also attended the Royal Ballet School Spring in Covent Gardens and Summer Intensives in Hong Kong.
From 2022-2026, Vivian pursued her professional dance career as a chorus dancer in Hong Kong Disneyland, performing in the Mickey and the Wondrous Book, Stella Lou's Wonderful Wishes Ballet, Parades and Face Character roles.
Vivian is a Registered Teacher in the Royal Academy of Dance and is a certified PBT 3 trainer. She has taught ballet to students from ages 2.5 to 70 years of age from children to pre-professionals to retired dancers, in renowned schools in Hong Kong, namely the Jean M Wong School of Dance, Gravity Ballet and Illume Dance Studio.
Currently working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology as well as pursuing her Master's Degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she is excited to share her passion in dance through evidence-based practice, safe dancing while being able to push the boundaries to bring out the best out of her students.
