BA (Hons) & Distinction in MA Contemporary Dance
Elizabeth began her dance training in Singapore under SOTA, before moving to the UK, where she graduated with 1st class BA (Hons) at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance (London) and a Distinction in MA Contemporary Dance Performance from Northern School of Contemporary Dance (Leeds). During her education, she worked with artists that include Yeji Kim (Hofesh Shechter Dance Company), Akram Khan Dance Company, Darshan Singh Bhuller and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures. In 2023/24, she danced with MA Dance company VERVE, performing in the UK, Switzerland and Italy.
In 2024/25, she worked with Inversedance Company (Budapest), as well as performance and teaching outreach work with TIN Arts under Tess Chaytor MBE & Martin Wilson MBE in Durham-based (UK) schools. In London, she also worked at Ballet North as an assistant ballet teacher for toddlers to pre-primary level as well as occasionally covering contemporary open classes at Danceworks and The Manor LDN. In season 2025, she danced full-time with company Ballet Cymru (Wales), touring works in Wales and England, where she also taught ballet class and choreographed for the company’s annual summer school programme for the mid-junior participants. In 2026, she danced with Oblique Company (Germany), and had the privilege to be offered an internship with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (Belgium) company.
Elizabeth’s diverse international exposure has led her to find interest in her teaching practice, where she is excited to share her knowledge and hone the next generation of local dancers.
