Class Information
Our Pointe Open class is perfect for dancers with more than 1 year of experience en pointe with basic foundation of rises & relevés en pointe. This technique class is designed for dancers who want to improve strength and stability in their pointe work. We focus heavily on barre training exercises to build strong lower leg strength required for pointe work in the center. Essential movements such as pliés and relevés are done slowly to ensure proper alignment and control. Dancers wear pointe shoes for the entire class, although switching to soft shoes is allowed for center work. Dancers' technique will be monitored closely by our instructor to ensure correct alignment to avoid injury. Foundational steps like échappés, piqués and pas de bourrée are often done in the center before progressing to more intermediate level movements en pointe without the support of the barre. The class main focus is to develop the correct muscle engagement and proper alignment while ensuring safety.

Cancellation Policy
Studio Policy (Adult Open Classes) 1. Class Package Validity: All classes must be completed within the valid period. There are no extensions for expired class credits. However, in cases of valid medical conditions, you may write to evangelsdance@gmail.com with supporting documents to request consideration for an extension. 2. Class cancellation & Rescheduling: You may cancel & reschedule a class 24 hrs before the class start time. We will notify students within 3-hours before class should we need to cancel the class due to less than 2 sign ups. All late cancellations and no-shows will result in a forfeit of class credit. 3. Attire & Grooming: Please wear appropriate attire according to the class genre. Ballet slippers are highly encouraged for Ballet classes. 4. Amendments: Evangels Dance reserves the right to make amendments to class schedule & instructors when deemed necessary. A substitute instructor or a replacement class will be arranged when main instructor is unable to teach. 5. Etiquette: Be punctual and visit the restroom before class to avoid mid-way class disruption. Proper class attire must be worn, and hair neatly tied. No food and/or sweet drinks are allowed within the studio premises except for special studio events and occasions. 6. Data Protection: Evangels Dance will not disclose your information to third parties except when required for registration of events, exams and competitions, or when we have permission from you to do so. 7. Release of Liability: Evangels Dance will not bear any liability for any loss or damages of property or personal injuries sustained within its premises or en route to or from any of said premises. 8. Medical Emergencies: Evangels Dance reserves the right to seek medical treatment for students in the event we are unable to reach the student's emergency contact. 9. Photo & Video Release and agreement: Evangels Dance reserves the right to use student’s pictures and videos in competitions, performance events and lessons for publicity and promotional purposes. 10. Agreement to studio policy: Evangels Dance reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions. By attending the classes, it indicates an agreement by student to abide by the latest policy of the studio which may be found on our website.
